John Brady’s

A modern reel composed by John Brady, a County Offaly flute player who wrote a number of tunes that took hold in the session repertoire. It travels under several names: many call it simply "Brady's" or "John Brady's," while its fuller title is "The View Across the Valley" — the name the Brady Family gave their own album. Kevin Crawford recorded it on D Flute Album, the Mulcahy family on Notes from the Heart, and the band Cian on Three Shouts from a Hill.
