About this tune
A Fermanagh reel from the repertoire of flute player Eddie Duffy (1894–1986), which accounts for its other title, "Eddie Duffy's New Ships A Sailing." Duffy passed much of his music on to Cathal McConnell, whose band Boys of the Lough recorded it on "Farewell and Remember Me." Altan later cut it on "Harvest Storm," and it appears as well on "Hidden Fermanagh Vol. 1."
