Jer Quigley’s

The reel known here as "Jer Quigley's" is catalogued on thesession.org under another of its many names, "Moving in Old Decency" — which the Traditional Tune Archive reads as a condensation of two older titles, "Moving in Decency" and "For the Sake of Old Decency." Breandán Breathnach printed it as No. 252 in Ceol Rince na hÉireann II, taking it from the East Galway flute player Jim Conroy of Clonco, Graigue, Co. Galway, collected in 1969. Mike and Mary Rafferty later recorded it on The Road from Ballinakill, and Alan and John Kelly on Fourmilehouse.
